Hmm… I’m not so sure that I like wordpress… it’s nice, i can probs make a lovely layout.  I am just not sure that I am ‘feeling’ it as much as my blogger, blog!

Anywho… I’ve not posted what I’m wearing in a LONG TIME!

About to leave for a mothers day dinner with my mother and my ‘adoptive mothers’ haha (all my friends moms).  Shirt is from American Apparel, The belt is vintage, Flip Flops Old Navy and the Jeans are Nudie SSK’s!  Please be nice… this is the first time I’ve included my face! I look very angry… GRR! Be afraid! hehe

One Sweet Day…

without comments

Hey everyone! Just got home for a super long day at work and am so glad the work week is finally over! AND the best news… I have found myself a new style icon and fashion inspiration. Okay so maybe she’s not an icon per say, but to me she’s reached that status and then some!

I of course got on the net to browse some blogs to get my daily dose of style and fashion. I stumbled upon this truly fabulous persons blog! I believe her name is Diane ( correct me if I am wrong please!) her blog is called One Sweet Day. I have to say after browsing through her blog I was not only intrigued by her incredible style, but her tiny figure and seemingly silly carefree attitude. I highly suggest you check her out because she truly has a knack for looking effortlessly chic!

What’s crazier is she’s linked to me and yet I’ve not heard of her… can’t wait to see more from her and I will definitely be linking her back!

Sevan Jewelry

Turkish designer Sevan Bicakci has a gorgeous jewelry line, Sevan Jewelry.  You can actually buy them off of Barneys.  It’s all very exotic, makes me think of an African Princess.  Truly beautiful.

Ed Hardy Charity Fashion Show

without comments

So last evening I went to my very first fashion show which was held at Club W in downtown Buffalo. I’ll be honest, though, it was nothing special, but hey it was for charity! I really love supporting charities when I can, which is not often, but I always make an honest attempt. The proceeds went to The Steadfast Foundation. The foundation was founded by Buffalo Sabers’ Goalie Ryan Miller I believe, and is dedicated to assisting children with childhood diseases, mainly leukemia and cancer.

So the company I am now working for designed a website for the PR group that was putting the Ed Hardy show together. It was great to see something fashionable, even if it’s only Ed Hardy, happening in Buffalo, NY. They handed out all sorts of free stuff too, I got a lanyard, perfume (which I have to say smells great) and all kinds of coupons and discounts on Ed Hardy clothes.

I will also be the first to admit, when it comes to fashion and models, I am super critical. And for models these girls were not the ‘fittest’ to say the least. There were two girls, though, that rocked the show. This one girl had a super amazing blond faux-hawk and the other girl was super tall, super skinny and majorly beautiful. The skinny girl’s walk was also not so bad, she was by FAR my favorite girl!

I’m actually kinda mad that I never took a photo of my outfit, however the PR company’s photographer took a pic of me so there’s one or two circulating around here somewhere!

I’m not really a fan of Ed Hardy can’t stand the blatant label whoring. If you are an Ed Hardy fan or you’re curious, you can check out more photos of the fashion show here.
